Fed: Labor/Congress members warn about FTA rules
Labor has warned against including laws in a free trade agreement with the United States
which would allow American firms to sue the state and federal governments.
Opposition trade spokesman STEPHEN CONROY says the US is pushing for the inclusion
of investor-state rules that would effectively give American firms the power to challenge
Australian government policy.
